Useful Creatures: Nematodes (Heterorhabditis heliothidis)
Against: Black Vine Weevils
Nematodes strike Black Vine Weevils through small body openings. A special bacteria from the bowel of the nematodes will transfer onto black vine weevil larva, which then dies as a result. When successful, the larva changes from white to red-brown. The nematodes are 0.1 to 0.8 mm long. Once the larva is dead, the nematodes leaves and infects other larvas.
